Tougher anti-terrorism laws on fast track
“Anti-terrorism laws will be toughened by the new Howard Government and harsh powers blocked by Labor could be pushed through a Coalition-dominated Senate, Attorney-General Philip Ruddock said yesterday.”
Tougher anti-terrorism laws - SMH
I fail see why there is a need to strip me of my civil rights in the name of
anti-terrorism. The Government and especially the […]

Perennial Ted
The legacy of Ted Nelson just wont go away, seems that some kind of debate/comment/anger about his ideas resurface(Scott is complaining about this) every couple of years.

“I don’t think it’s fair to say that designers have been stupid to overlook the senior market. Short-sighted is probably more accurate,” Bingham said. “We’ve had accessibility standards in place for years, but they remain too convoluted and just don’t make it into enough products.”

MarsEdit
I’ve been using the beta of MarsEdit to
compose and post here.
Being able to post from the desktop makes the process a breeze. The integration
with BBEdit and being able to use the same HTML and CSS I use on my blog for preview templates tops off this thoughtful app.
There is one bug however
that means I won’t […]
Time for site
I finally found some time do a little more work on presentation of this site.
I’ve also renamed it inline with my old Radio blog.
There is some more work to do over time, the site uses server side XML and XSLT to dynamically build the site. I’m kind of building it from scratch using my XML grammar although I considered using RSS, ATOM and XHTML2 and may still do so later on.
The XML is output from Movable Type 2.6 (which I use as the content management system), I still have to implement some caching and trackbacks as well as some fiddley bits and graphic design. I also won’t move over the post’s from my old blog sooner or later too.
I’ve got some time at the moment because I’m ill again (doctor didn’t read up a blood test I had in April) and will likely take a little time off until the drugs kick in. Although I’m open to temptation, slut that I am.
