I don’t want to come home!
I’m ringing the the last drop out of my internet connection in the bar at the Hilton. The Hilton by the way tried to gyp me out of over $500 USD on the hotel bill. It pays to check the bill! They were very sorry and not sure how such a thing could of happened… I have my suspisions.
I had to check out at midday so with about 3 hours to kill I walked down to the Embarcedaro and had a long lingering lunch at Chaya which is pretty good at that. Soon the airport shuttle will wisk me away to endless queing and endless waiting and sitting on my bum with naught to do and my connection to QF 12 in L.A.
The times that I’ve been here before I’ve always felt like a foreigner in a foreign land, this time less so. In fact so much so that I wish I could stay longer. Much longer, I love it here.
