My iPhone prediction
Are you sick of reading love sonnets to the efing iPhone?…me too so I’ll get this out of the way.
I’ve given it deep thought and predict that the iPhone will be available in Australia in time for Xmas, it will be a 3G model rather than GSM and therefore will be exclusive to the Telstra “Next G” network. (which also means it will be expensive).
Given Australia’s lack of free WiFi this is the only thing that makes sense. Both Teltra’s 3G and pay-for WiFi network have much broader national coverage than any of the other players in this market.
Also if you are a Telco who lies in bed at night dreaming of becoming a TV station would you let the iPhone go to a competitor?…
